Archemy Consulting provides sustainable design guidance and appropriate technology integration from the urban scale to the building and systems level. Our mission is to integrate the built environment with natural systems such as energy, water and material cycles. Our broad ability is in generating and communicating concepts for low impact development and redevelopment that makes the best use of available resources and ambient energy. Our specialty areas are daylight design, sunlight control and utilization, advanced envelope concepts (including natural ventilation), renewable energy integration, on-site waste mitigation systems, materials recycling and green materials specifications. We operate an office and home on a coastal island that is a showcase and experimental ground for integration of landscape and buildings into natural systems.

The City Program at Simon Fraser University at Harbour Centre

The City Program at Simon Fraser University is dedicated to the understanding of the city and how we as citizens can participate in shaping its future. The program serves as a forum for the exploration of urban issues with offerings that change each year to reflect current events. Three components comprise the program: free public lectures, mid-career professional development courses, and the Urban Design Certificate Program.
