Dear Mr. Hansen,

I wanted to thank you, on behalf of all of us in the Gibby’s Field Group, for taking time out of your Saturday morning to tour the site and provide us with your initial impressions of Gibby’s Field.

I hope that your conversations with Mark Vulliamy and Piet Rutgers reinforce your positive first impressions.

We will be working with historian Meg Stanley (Hal Kalman’s colleague) to begin developing a detailed history of the property and I will keep you informed of that process as it evolves.

I look forward to speaking with you in greater detail about Gibby’s Field in the near future.

In the meantime, I have attached a copy of the Gibby’s Field report you took with you (less the buried stream map) for the benefit of your fellow Commissioners and City staff.
