Watercolors give me great satisfaction because of their freshness, immediacy and spontaneity. There is an element of risk that adds bit of excitement, because a mistake can seldom be corrected successfully. My inspiration comes from my garden, and the pristine and rugged scenery of Northern Vancouver Island.
