Deborah Wachter is a graduate of Okanagan University College achieving a University of Victoria Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Deborah is influenced by the landscape around her and uses her understanding of the elements of design to create paintings that evoke feelings of memories or a moment in time.
Along with her time spent painting, Deborah has sat on the Board of Directors for the Kelowna Visual and Performing Arts Centre Society, actively participated in fund raising and was a member the Building Committee in conjunction with the City of Kelowna . Deborah also worked for the Barn Gallery in Oyama, B.C. hanging yearly exhibits of artwork.
