Theatre Under The Stars
Vancouver, British Columbia
Theatre Under the Stars, also known as TUTS, started in
1934 as an outdoor band shell in Stanley Park (see Map)
for summer afternoon concerts of choral or orchestra music. In 1940, a
group of local theatre people formed a "not for profit society"
called Theatre Under the Stars to produce quality musicals during the
summer. Since then, TUTS has been delighting audiences from around the
world with summer musical theatre productions in the pastoral outdoor
setting of historic Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park.
Theatre Under The Stars presents its 60th Summer Season:. The gate opens at 7 pm and shows start at 8 pm every night until August 21st.

CAN-CAN

Cole Porter's witty score made this Broadway musical an
instant classic when it opened in 1953. The story is set in the year
1893 and tells the tale of La Mome Pistache who is upset about the
investigation of her Bal Du Paradis, where the major attraction is the

when her case comes to trial, Aristide takes over the defence and wins
the acquittal.
