Art Statement

"Two steel birds will fall from the sky on the Metropolis. The sky will burn at forty-five degrees latitude. Fire approaches the great new city [New York City lies between 40-45 degrees] Immediately a huge, scattered flame leaps up. Within months, rivers will flow with blood. The undead will roam earth for little time." Re: Nostradamus, Century 6, and Quatrain 97

We don't know if this scary picture is a true prediction or scenario worth believing at all. This way we look no more than a puppet in this world. But any ways let us think for a moment! Forget every thing about daily life, who we are, where we are living in and when.

Think about the whole world, our planet Earth, and the humane race. Think where ultimately are we going to, who is really ruling us? What are all these destructive forces acting within our society on the Earth? Are they of the same nature as earthquake, Volcano, flood and other natural disasters?

No! Man has always been creator of wars. Who were responsible for the destruction of millions of people in the 1st and 2nd world war, in Vietnam, Middle East and recently in America and Afghanistan? We don't know exactly who theses strange and negative people are. Let us call it ignorance, power monsters. But what can we do to stop this manmade destructive machine against human society?

We as artists can only show the truth through expressions and artistic creations. And this is a very important role.

My paintings in this exhibition reflects my feelings and imagination through my visual language of arts and occasionally borrowing the real world as a symbolic reference. My vision here shows  two monsters in two extremes fighting for the power. One being a symbol of savage, ignorant and undeveloped man, where as a highly "developed" but inhuman and destructive creature is on the other side. In between is our civilized nations being the main victim. In my vision but there is always the desire for freedom and love as a symbol of hope.
