Our Staff:
Irene C. Flett, M.A., M.Clin.Psych., R.C.C.
Counsellor
Irene is a Registered Clinical Counsellor,
with over 20 years of counselling
experience.
She holds an M.A. from the University
of
Glasgow and an M. Psychol. (Clinical)
from
the University of Liverpool,
and worked for
11 years with the National Health
Service,
U.K. After completing 2 years
of Bible School
training and short-term missions
oriented
work over a period of 5 years,
she joined
Burden Bearers in January, 1997.
Her educational
and clinical experience enable
her to counsel
in a wide range of areas, including
relationships
, fear and anxiety, depression,
anger management,
women’s issues, victim abuse
and various
aspects of psychopathology.
Irene continues to develop her
counselling
skills through ongoing education
and training.

Counsellor
In addition to his pastoral ministry in Saskatchewan,
Brent has spent six years in
Italy as a missionary.
He is an avid reader and sees
education as
something that is ongoing. Brent
brings to
Burden Bearers
a focus on wounded relationships,
pre-marital
issues, grief and loss, and work
and career
related stress. He is looking
forward to
facilitating a men's group on
Work/Career
Transitions.

Each office is managed by an Area Management
Committee (AMC) with oversight by a board
of directors made up of a member from each
AMC. Burden Bearers of Canada is a British
Columbia non-profit Society that has charitable
registration with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Donors are issued an official receipt which
may be used for income tax purposes.
