Hands_Off_The_INTERNET!
Take Action Against the TPP

The TPP is a Treaty that, among other things, is a corporate Internet coup in which corporations will be given exclusive rights to choose what content you can have access to. An Internet free from censorship is our right. Stop the encroachment of the New World Order onto our Internet by taking action now! There are numerous ways to show you oppose handing over control of the Internet to corporate interest. You can sign or setup Petitions and send a link to Government. You can attend or organize Protests and send video's to Government. Contact Government by sending email or call with conserns on TPP that you oppose. Boycott the Corporations that are lobbying for the TPP. Rally Social Media by sending links to all your friends and associates. Start a Website / Blog against the TPP. Produce Videos or other media showing the negative aspects about the TPP.  Petitions   Protests   Contact Gov   Boycott TPP   Social Media   Website/Blog   Produce Video   Other Action   More TPP Info

Petitions - Go to top
There are a number of online Petitions already up and running against the government support of the TPP. Go to each and sign your name. Join forces to protect the Internet by signing up for subscriptions to keep informed. Send a link to your government on petitions signed. It only takes a few minutes to make your voice heard. But if you do not speak out you are saying yes to corporate control via consensis. This is what the government assumes from none verbal communication - is your message of support.

Here is a short list of some Petitions to sign, there may be more out there so you can search around also. Or maybe you want to create a Petition on your own. Online resources exist where you can start a new Petition, like Avaaz.org. Don't forget to mail the URL to your government official to show opposition. Do not be alarmed if after you sign a Petition that some arm of the government begins to harass you - this can happen. Be prepared for a lawsuit if you can prove political persecution you may be awarded money for damages.

Protests - Go to top
On Friday, January 31, 2014 hundreds of groups and thousands of individuals across the US and around the world organized protests against TPP and the Fast Track bill. Check out this map to see if there's was a protest organized near you. Connect with the organization and find out when there will be another Protest that you can attend. Join the groups that organize Protests.
Remember that Protests are usually attended by Police and that they may spray pepper spray and use microwave and excessive force against Protesters. This is all part of the UN agenda to take away your rights and install a police state. But if we do not oppose the regiem they will steal our future. You should have water to rinse your eyes, goggles to protect your eyes. And have wrapped your torso in aluminum foil under your clothes and brought along a helmet lined with foil to protect yourself from the microwave radiation. Bring cameras to record the Police violence to document it. Also remember that there can be COINTELLPRO CIA aggrivators in the Protestor crowd to incite violence.

Contact Canadian Government - Go to top
FEDERAL
There are only a few ways to connect with government. It would be a great idea if government would avail themselves to the population by becoming a more open and a participatory democracy. With the use of the Internet and interactive social media it would be easy for government to set up secure votes on policy and connect with all constituents on concepts. Although there are a few MP's with actual websites, Facebooks and Twitter we still need to take the further step to online polls via MP's in a secure fashion to make government a true reflection of the people not just corporate private interest lobby groups who have twisted our planet into those who have the most money are the only ones with a voice.
- Phone Canadian Federal Government -
Phoning the Federal Government can be done with a regular land line or a cellular phone. If you want to use an IP phone there is a couple services out there like Skype and Twilio that allow you to make a call with your Browser through the Internet. Remember too, that you can send a SMS (text) to a land line or a cellphone from the Internet. If you are sending a text message to a cell phone from the Internet, you must use the carrier of the recipients cell phone. If the carrier is not in the list below just do a search on the Internet for "send sms" and the carrier name, example, "telus". You can also send an email to a phone from the Internet. But same as sending a sms, you need to know the carrier of the cell phone to address it properly.
Make a call from the Internet:

There are also services to send text messages to a Satelite Phone from the Internet. You use the carrier of the satelite phone, so if it is Iridium:
http://messaging.iridium.com/

You can send an email to a phone from the Internet by accessing your regular email client, then in the "to" field use the 10 digit number as the username followed then by the carrier. The specific address is different for different carriers so do a search on the Internet for the proper address.

To find a particular government member's phone number you can use the search on the government database or follow the links below to find members numbers. They do change phone numbers regularly as members are shuffled around so check back on a regular basis. And remember that even if your call does get through, you are most likely speaking to an Assistant that will then filter your call so it is better if you use multiple strategies to get your voice heard.

A sample email is below. Simply cut and paste into your email and add your own touch. It couldn't be any easier than this. You must send the email twice if you wish to email ALL of the Federal Government to increase your chances of being heard this is what I do twice a week. The reason why you must send two (2) emails is that email services will reject it as spam if you send to more recipients then 100 at a time. So I split my emails in the following way:
              1. First email to field.                                               2. Second email to field.
To:          To:
Subject:
Body:

If you get some sent back "undeliverable" or "unreacheable" do not be surprised nor alarmed in any way. The government is always shuffling around members and emails some times are sent back because the corrupt member does not want to recieve any email. Nice, uh?

- Visit Canadian Federal Government -
Visiting your local MP is not all that easy. The addresses are listed above, however, they are not hardly ever in their office. And the Assistant on the front desk is usually a corporate insider so any message left with them will be discarded. But if you are able to get an appointment with your MP you may have a small amount of time to voice your conserns.

- Snail Mailing Canadian Federal Government -
Another option is to send a traditional letter to your government leaders regarding your lack of support for the TPP.

- E-Mailing Canadian Federal Government -
Sending email is easy to do and I personally do it twice a week under different email addy's. You can use the handy sample letter above by cutting and pasting then adding your own thoughts. The email addresses can change from time to time so be sure to check the government links above also.

- Twitter Canadian Federal Government -
Some Canadian officials are actually making an attempt to reach out to their constituents and have signed up for Twitter accounts. Their Twitter account is usually found off the government links above.

- Facebook Canadian Federal Government -
Some of the Canadian members have also opened Facebook accounts and they can be found off the government links above also. It is good to encourage other officials to do the same as an interactive government is closer to a participatory democracy. Next step would be a constituent vote on policy. I can dream can't I?

Boycott TPP Corporations & ISP's - Go to top

Boycott's are the only action that corporate types seem to listen to. When you hit them in the profit margin it gets their attention. An ISP who is supportive to the TPP can be replaced with a non TPP supporting ISP. It isn't difficult to switch internet service providers. So send everyone of your friends and family the message to boycott the following companies. There is also an APP that you can download for your cell phone that you can check products at the store before you buy to see if it is a TPP supporter and then not buy that brand but rather purchase a different brand. You can do that can you not?

1. Call your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and ask if they support the TPP. Tell them that if they do you will switch to a different ISP.
2. Stop buying or purchasing anything from the corporations that are pushing for the TPP. Vote with your dollars. Corporations are profit driven, the profit drops and you have their interest. The boycott has been proven throughout history to be THE ONLY TRULY EFFECTIVE MOTIVATOR. We, the people have the power to crush a corporation overnight. Try calling up the following companies and insiders who are pushing the TPP and tell them what you think about having your Internet rights stolen for profit.
Download the APP and join the campaign "Stop the TPP" to help you boycott the major players in the TPP while you shop. Vote with your dollars. We can change the world by what we do every day.

Remember we are the future with what we do today.
Some ideas: Start an Action in your area. Create a sign to place on your lawn, make t-shirts against TPP with liquid embroidery ink, have a No TPP party theme, print out small notes and leave them at bus stops or coffee shops, make a video against TPP and post it on Youtube, anything but do not do nothing. Nothing = Yes to TPP.
