Mitehpo Vivpensa

A woman rides a bus to work where she develops pictures of other places and other people's lives. The woman rides home on the bus. Another uneventful day lived out by an extraordinary person. Mitehpo Vivpensa conveys the banality and beauty of her existence as we witness how she is reacting to change.

Originally created to be part of the Mendel Art Gallery's "Saskatoon Imagined" exhibit in 1990, this video has personal references to my own experiences with winter depression from indoor jobs and the questioning of the value of employment when it is unhealthy.
