Hola all,
Well, it's been a respectable amount of time since the last update, so I suppose I'd better get on with it...
This month's poll:
Which style suits Rob best? (see pictures at http://www.vcn.bc.ca/~slftf/):
(a) Goatee or "Too lazy to shave" look
(b) Normal or "Stunned" look
(c) Baldy or "post-Lice" look
Send your vote here to [email protected] by September 25th to be entered in the draw for a free email from Rob.
Rob's arrival in Canada is scheduled for the month of November. Exact dates to follow.
Life is super busy here, hopefully will soon relax a tiny bit as tomorrow I am off to Buenos Aires and then to Montevideo for the conference. Then a week of travelling about. Haven't made any plans at all yet as to what I will do or where I will travel, but that is the fun of travelling, I think.
Completed my first round with the new job, picking up a volunteer and the airport, touring around with him in Managua and giving him the run-down on the situation here. And, I got paid for it. Fun. Not the most convenient time, but oh well, I will sleep on the plane. This week in particular was poorly thought out by the powers that be. I had a party on Wed night until 2am for a friend's birthday, then got up at 5am to drive to Matagalpa on Thurs, came back on Friday night around 7pm, then at 8pm went to the full moon party with the youth group to the beach, sang and danced and played guitar all night (absolutely no sleep), back to Managua, ran errands in the morning, some friends over for a visit, lunch, met with the youth in El Recreo that I am teaching web page stuff to, in the afternoon, picked up the volunteer from the airport, dropped him to the hotel, sleep, up early today for his tour of Managua, chat and dropped him off in Granada, back, packing, to the office for last minute forgotten things, then back home now to pack and think of what I should forget for the trip. Whew.
However, it is all good fun.
Better get back to the packing, more after my trip...
