Configuring UserID on OutlookExpress


We have recently (Dec 18,2001) upgraded our pop3 server. This new pop3 server is not as forgiving. Users who got away with a mis-configured Outlook Express will now have problem fetching email.
Run Outlook Express and choose Tools and then Accounts.
On the Mail tab, select the mail.vcn.bc.ca and click on properties.
Select the Server tab. Make sure the "Account name" does not have the "@vcn.bc.ca" part. That is, you should have "userid" in that slot and not "[email protected]".
