We have recently (Dec 18,2001) upgraded our pop3 server. This new pop3 server is not as forgiving. Users who got away with a mis-configured Outlook Express will now have problem fetching email.
Run Outlook Express and choose Tools and then Accounts. |
On the Mail tab, select the mail.vcn.bc.ca and click on properties. |
Select the Server tab. Make sure the "Account name" does not have the "@vcn.bc.ca" part. That is, you should have "userid" in that slot and not "[email protected]". |
