Artefact Holdings Assistant

Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure safety and security of the museum, visitors and themselves

  2. Assist in the management of the artefact collection

  3. Ensure proper care in the handling and conservation of artefacts

  4. Data entry of accessions

  5. Explore feasibility of adding finding aids in French

  6. Prepare photographic records of the collection

  7. Check accuracy of existing data base

  8. Assist in the development of new displays for children and seniors

  9. Participate in special events

  7. Assist with publicity and public relations in the community focusing on children and seniors

  8. Assist with proper care and handling of photos and artifacts
