123 was first chosen as a joke when we started as a comedy troupe of 3 people. “Sounds like a dance team from Star Search.” Chosen because it was so non-descript, it could mean anything. We quickly came to realize that those numbers are everywhere in elevators, on clocks, in instruction manuals. Parking stalls, children’s books, dance steps, EVERYWHERE! What an excellent marketing tool! Once people get our name in their heads they will begin to see it everywhere and every time they do, we would imprint further and further into their minds. It’s what people chant before they jump, drummers counting in at the beginning of a jam, comedy comes in 3’s, tragedy comes 3’s. The numbers stand for mind, body and spirit. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Conscious, sub-conscious and super-conscious. Those numbers are everywhere and once you recognize that, we’ll be everywhere.
