2001
- In 2001 the Catching the Spirit program was run as a Youth Initiatives Pilot Project. Much of the resources came from volunteers.
- The Pacific Spirit Park Society was able to secure funding for the Peer
Leaders, in form of post secondary tuition credits, from the last year of the provincial youth assistance grants.
- The Pacific Parklands Foundation supported the program with scholarships for the two Supervisors and program costs.
- Mordehai Wosk assisted the foundation with a Platinum Level donation.
