SAS Background

SAS Calgary has operated successfully since 1989, and currently operates three safe houses, eleven transitional apartments, eight independent living long-term apartments, six co-operative for-profit businesses, one babysitting service, and the ASK Learning Centre.

SAS Kelowna opened their first safe house in 1998, and currently operates three safe houses and the ASK Learning Centre.

In October 2000, the SA World Service was officially founded by SAS Calgary. The mandate of SA World Service is to spread the news of SAS world wide.
