Programs: Community Awareness and Beautification

The Beautification program provides funds in support of the Guildford Park Community Building and improvements needed to keep it a safe place for young adults. The purpose of this program is to involve youth in the area of community service. Through environmental and beautification projects, young people build connections with adults in the community.

These were just some of the several hampers our After School tutors put together for various families in our community over the winter holidays

In December 2012, the After School tutors and a few of our society members help put several holiday hampers together to give out to several families in our community.

This program provides support and opportunities for youth to educate and assist in environmental activities in the community. Promotion of excellence is provided through posters and recycling. The teens involved in this program are given an opportunity to experience success and a feeling of pride and accomplishment. 

Our kids assisted a BC Artist in painting several wall murals in the auditorium. We hope to continue with these community projects.
