QUIZ QUESTIONS:
- What is Brahmacharya and how does it differ from Sannyas?
- Name the eight limbs of Yoga (Ashtanga in Sanscrit) and define them.
- There is a famous saying, "Hari Om Tat Sat". What does it really mean?
ANSWERS TO THE PREVIOUS QUIZ: Hope you got them right! Here's the answers:...
- You are seeing your appearance in some of your own past lives. The age of the face and other details reflect how you best remember that previous personality. If the faces you see are not super-imposed on your own but around you, then you are seeing " spirits" or those without physical bodies.
- For a person who is "out of the body" or in-between lives without a physical body, the easiest way to make one's prescence known to those who are in a physical body, is to send them a strong sense of an odour. Often one can smell a particular flower scent. One should take this to imply the presence of a guide or friend, who is merely signalling their presence to you. There are other ways, such as a light touch on the shoulder or seeing a "ghost", but a scent is by far the most common.
- Amongst the Siddhis or Yogic powers one acquires after much meditation practice are:
1) The ability to heal others with a glance;
2) The ability to make oneself as small as an atom (or less);
3) The ability to make oneself as large as the Universe (or more);
4) The ability to know the future;
5) The ability to see at a great distance
6) The ability to telepathically know/merge with others thoughts
etc etc etc
