GETTING THERE

By Transit

From Lougheed Mall Skytrain Station: Take Bus #97 B-Line and get off at St Johns Street and Williams Street, then walk west to Moody Street. Or take C24 to Saint John Street and Moody Street. At Moody Street, turn north and walk over the bridge. The Museum is on the left and access is possible by following the path under the bridge.

From Coquitlam Centre and Coquitlam Station: Take Bus #97 B-Line, #160 or #190, and get off at St Johns Street and Williams Street, take the C25 to the 2900 block of Murray Street and walk west to the Museum. Alternately, walk west from St Johns Street and Williams Street to Moody Street. At Moody Street, turn north and walk over the bridge. The Museum is on the left and access is possible by following the path under the bridge.

From Downtown: Take Bus #160 or #190 to St Johns Street and Williams Street, take the C25 to the 2900 block of Murray Street and walk west to the Museum. Alternately, walk west from St Johns Street and Williams Street to Moody Street. At Moody Street, turn north and walk over the bridge. The Museum is on the left and access is possible by following the path under the bridge.

By Car

From Coquitlam Centre: Go west on the Barnet Highway; the Barnet Highway becomes St Johns Street in Port Moody, follow until Moody Street and turn right. Go north over bridge and around the roundabout, turn left onto Murray Street, then immediately left again into the Museum parking lot.

From Lougheed Mall: Go north on North Road, North Road becomes Clarke Road, follow until Clarke Road becomes St Johns Street, stay straight until Moody Street and turn left. Go north over bridge and around the roundabout, turn left onto Murray Street, then immediately left again into the Museum parking lot.

From Vancouver: Take the Trans-Canada Highway to exit #37, follow Gaglardi Way, turn right on Broadway Avenue, turn left on Clarke Road, Clarke Road becomes St Johns Street at the bottom of the hill, go straight until Moody Street and turn left. Go north over bridge and around the roundabout, turn left onto Murray Street, then immediately left again into the Museum parking lot.

Parking

Parking is free for Museum visitors.

The Port Moody Heritage Society is dedicated to preserving the history of Port Moody and the surrounding area. The Port Moody Station Museum is owned and operated by the Society. It is part of their effort to promote increased awareness and knowledge of Port Moody's heritage and history.

The operation of the museum is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors and Executive Council. The museum is operated by a Manager/Curator, Museum Assistant, and Student Museum Assistants who maintain the facilities and give the majority of the tours.
