MaryAnne Connor-Simpson
MaryAnne Connor-Simpson is President and CEO of The Connor Group Marketing Inc. since 1997. Through her past fundraising efforts, she has demonstrated her belief that businesses should give back to the community. She was instrumental in orchestrating The Everywoman's Dream Home supporting Breast Cancer Research, the Z95 Sticker Give-Away Event supporting the South Fraser Child Development Centre and, recently, The Everyman's Dream Home supporting Prostate Cancer Research. She received her Basic Training Certificate from Burden Bearers of Canada in 1990 where she served on its Board of Directors and facilitated a "12 Step Program" for women. She has recently earned a Certificate for Ministry of Prayer Counselling with Elijah House Canada and has worked with Pastor David Poulette in serving on the Lifeline Management Team and assisting with group counselling sessions with Anchor House. MaryAnne's experience and drive have been important assets in the operations of Lifeline Outreach Society. She currently serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors and is responsible for creating innovative Fundraising and Special Events initiatives. MaryAnne believes that everyone would like to make a contribution but feels that their donation is not large enough to make a significant impact. The Reach Out Programs give donors the opportunity to give regardless of the size of the donation.
