The Gift of Time

Time is our most precious gift. All of us have some, but most never find enough in the day. With your gift of time, you can provide a service that charities like Lifeline need to continue and grow. All our programs at Lifeline need someone who can offer time.

Time spent with Lifeline is rewarding. There are a wide variety of areas in which volunteers can help, from food preparation, internet support, teaching life skills and offering your talented skills to aid in one of the many Lifeline projects (carpentry, electrical, painting, cleaning, gardening, etc.).

New volunteers are asked to attend a Volunteer Information session. This information night covers Lifeline's purpose, goals, policies, and procedures. Our volunteers are educated on the poverty in the Lower Mainland, its root causes and possible solutions.

For more information on volunteering with Lifeline, contact us at 604.736.3227 or [email protected].

Groups: There are many ways groups can get involved. Groups can book certain days or nights to volunteer at Lifeline, as well as becoming involved in ongoing activities like fundraising, food or clothing drives, and much more. For non-local groups, Lifeline can help you organize a missions trip to the Lower Mainland. We can help you set up volunteering with us or other similar ministries and assist with lodging and food. If your school, church, community or business would like more information, contact Matthew Rayburn or contact us.
