Configuring an Email Account in Outlook Express
How to configure a Mail account in Outlook Express 5
- Select the Tools menu and Accounts.
- Select the Mail tab.
- Click on the Add button.
- Click on Mail.
- Enter the name that you want to appear when you send a message to somebody.
- Click on the Next button.
- Enter your VCN e-mail address.
- Click on the Next button.
- Enter mail.vcn.bc.ca in Incoming and Outgoing mail boxes.
- Click on the Next button.
- Type your VCN login ID in the Account name box.
Type your VCN password in the Password box.
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Finish button.Check the properties of an existing Mail account
- Select the Tools menu and Accounts.
- Select the Mail tab.
- Select one account and click on the Properties button.
- Select the General tab.
- Select the Servers tab.
- When you are finished click OK to exit and save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving any changes.
