Heartbeat Homecare

Heartbeat Homecare is an outreach that caters to the impoverished shut-ins in the downtown core of Vancouver. Staff and volunteers deliver groceries to people who are housebound due to age, chronic sickness, or injury. We spend considerable time talking, listening, and assisting in simple household chores and maintenance. This outreach is often the only personal contact these lonely individuals experience.

Fellowship is God's way of speaking to His children. By going out into the community, helping those who can't leave their homes, we bring hope to them. It's the little things that matter most in the world. Especially to those who can't help themselves.
